Rebirth

I'm suprised this old blog site is still here. I was just thinking about how Twitter and other similar websites aren't really conducive to what I want in ways. I like to ramble. About video games mostly, but if I have something to say it irritates the crap out of me when I'm imposed a character limit or any type of limit on length. I get that "microblogging" services use shortform posts as the point, but I'd rather have the flexibility to make 1 long post about a subject that's more cleanly presented than 50 small posts on a microblogging service that is hard to follow.

I don't know what i'm going to really put here yet, or how often I'll actually write something, but I like having the option to do so either way. Part of what gave Tumblr some appeal to me, but the crackdown on NSFW content is something I really don't agree with. But I'm not here to get into that kind of stuff, I'm here to talk about video games or whatever other dumb stuff I can think of.

I really want to delete the older posts on here to give this a fresh start, but as a preservationist and archivist, that would be wrong of me to do. I feel the same way about a lot of the old gameplay and commentary videos I have on YouTube too and old posts I've made on Twitter and Tumblr, but again, I'm for preservation. Even if my old stuff I'd rather not look at, I shall keep everything up.

I'm not on the internet as much as I was, so i may miss comments or interaction and such, but be on the lookout for stuff in the future, if you're interested.
